Starring Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving Directed by James McTeigue

After seeing trailers and thinking 'that looks pretty good', then reading reviews that all either said that it was poor, or that it wasn't really worth the time, I decided to watch it for myself and find out.
set in the near future, britain is being ruled over by a totalitarian regime called norsefire. The film follows Evey Hammond (Portman) who at the beggining of the film is saved my a masked vigilante only known as V. You nevver get to see the face of V as he always wears a Guy Fawkes mask, probably because his face has been badly burned or mutated. V inspires a revalution whilst also carrying out his own personal vendetta against the government.
I actually enjoyed watching this film and was interested in the regime that ran the country, there was a fair bit of action throughout the film and two (that I can think of right now) great explosion scenes. Worth watching if only once. I would say rent it but its probably off the shelves, Lovefilm have it I know that!
